Description
From the day we moved in we were immediately struck by what a wonderfully supportive street community we had joined – including street parties and a thriving street WhatsApp group. Want to borrow, swap or know anything – there is usually someone to help.
Having moved from the city, the house itself is a cosy and comfortable home which has been a joy to live in. We’re not overlooked at the front by anything but a church and it is very quiet. We also have a lovely garden where many a summer evening has been spent relaxing. There is always plenty of parking but we have found that the bus service is so good that a 5 min walk will get us to the bus stop for either Bristol or Bath. We have used it a lot when we prefer not to drive. Temple Meads is also within walking distance.
We have had a grandson since moving into this house and got married, so we have lots of wonderful memories.
Arnos Park is at the end of the street and there are lots of wonderful nature reserves on our doorstep – along with some lovely coffee shops and a smashing deli on Sandy Park Road. The Knowle is only a walk away for a Sunday lunch and BocaBar is a firm favourite but there are lots more options for socialising.
Whoever moves in next, we have no doubt that this will quickly become a peaceful haven, as it did for us and that this house will help you make even more wonderful memories
